Opulent and slightly off-dry, Apothic Dark is the handsome, brooding brother of the vibrant and fun Apothic Red. A multi-varietal blend, headlined by the robust and rustic Petite Sirah, this wine shows intense aromas of spice, smoky oak and dark chocolate. The complex and decadent nose is echoed on the palate.

Tasting Notes

Opaque deep ruby; aromas of stewed blueberry, black cherry, tobacco and dark chocolate; on the palate it is full bodied and dry with a kiss of sweetness; the flavours echo the aromas leading to a long and grippy finish.
