Description

Launched in the 1970s, Baby Duck once dominated Ontario's burgeoning wine market. It still holds its own, with forward sweet fruit and lively bubbles. Enjoy aromas and flavours of candied strawberries and red fruit preserve. Serve well-chilled with Asian cuisine, jerk chicken or smoky barbecue.

Tasting Notes

Bright purple colour with a burst of carbonation; aromas of sweet grape and melon with candied notes; sweet, medium bodied, soft and pleasant on the palate with grape jelly and pear flavours; refreshing carbonation on the finish.

Serving Suggestion

Serve chilled with Chinese food take out, mildly spicy fare, salty snacks and hors d'oeuvres. Also, a great base for wine cocktails.
